Welcome to our Mini Soccer section, our Under 9 and 10s play every Sunday morning in the Newcastle Mini Soccer League.
Here at East End we aim to support the development of players and hopefully produce the players of the future who may play with this club for as long as possible.
With regards to our Under 8's we must make you aware of a letter from the NFA which, "instructs mini soccer leagues not to organise leagues were results are collected or published, or where winners trophies are presented. The letter elsewhere also makes it clear that the league can not organise league cups or one day tournaments which involve an element of 'knock out' football. The letter goes on to say that leagues and/or clubs which disregard this directive may have their affiliation withdrawn. In respect of clubs, this means that all teams within a club will not be affiliated. Charter Standard Clubs will automatically lose their award" (Extracted from The Newcastle Mini Soccer League website).
As we develop players in a match environment from Under 9s, this is already begining to show how important it is to attract players early and develop them in the right way.
We also run a very succesful Saturday Fun club which is aimed at 5-10 years olds and is scheduled as a 'taster & Introduction' for young players to have qualified organised coaching within a club environment
